DH reckons that the woman hones in on her partner as the 'provider/protector'(caveman instict) but I have known women who have fancied anyone.

I have to agree with your DH!

We have been together for 15 years and I can honestly say that in every pregnancy its like I fall in love with him all over again!

I miss him when he's at work, get flutters when he comes home, and get quite needy in terms of affection etc!

Don't get me wrong, we have a great relationship anyway but all those initial overwhelming feelings when you first fall in love just seem to get intense when I'm pregnant!

I have to say even his smell (secret shirt sniffer) gets me excited!

Exp DC3 on Friday and fully expect 'normal service' to resume when my hormones settle down, and will stop feeling like a crazed hormonal bunny boiler!

Oh I used to have dreams about everyone apart from dh!!

I disagree I am afraid it was anyone and everyone for me. Up to about 12 weeks and every night I slept it was a different dream different person after two weeks I just wanted to sleep and felt like crying for hunky pilot/soldier/doctor/business man to leave me alone to sleep .

I tried and succeeded on keeping it from him but I did love him more and felt emotionally close and like I needed him and all stayed and grew further as I got more pg and after baby was born. It was just that horny feelings were directed everywhere .

Yes very horny during pregnancy..... think it was my bodies way of 'stocking up' ready for the drought that follows.... hahaha all the sleepless nights and hard work!!!

Only had eyes for my DH tho. Think for me it felt really special and sensual.
