Funny question, though I never heard it mentioned before.
I'm a little paranoid, as when I was pg with ds I took out my tummy bar, and throughout the pg I noticed some small stretch marks appearing around the actual piercing hole. It looks a bit weird to say the least!
Now I'm pg again, I'm scared it'll get ten times worse! I know, I know...they're my war wounds of motherhood, and there's nothing I can do about it...but...
Do stretch marks tend to be worse 2nd time round?
I just want to be prepared!(lots of cream, lots of cream!)

now this may sound odd i know, but i had to have my belly button redone after dd1 and the chap in the tattoo parlour suggested using annusol (I know its for haemorroids) gel to tighten up the skin around the belly area. he said its also what a lot of models put around their eyes to tighten up the lines!!!

HI, I am worried about the same thing now, being pregnant for the first time. I know stretch marks are thought to be for life, however remember watching a program on Channel 4 recently takling about stretch marks. Apparently Carboxytherapy helps a great deal. I have no idea of costs etc, but will try it if I get them. I can handle the excess fat, bleeding gums and thread veins already appearing on my legs but strech marks on my bound-to-be-hanging belly...Sad Ooh, why men don't get pregnant!
