Sorry guys! I know it's not a pleasant heading. But I've been reading quite a few pre-labour posts and the most common 'symptom' just before labour seems to be diarrhoea, so I'm curious, does this always happen?

Early signs of labor - Recognize labor symptoms and signs early to keep you from making a pregnant trip to the hospital or call to the doctor that results in being told to 'just wait'.

I have no first-hand knowledge yet, but it makes sense. I used to get a lot "looser" when I got my period and I put it down to the uterine contractions kind of "helping along" the peristalsis in the bowel. Therefore makes sense that the contractions of early labour can do the same.

Likewise I haven't been in labour yet but get "looser" when I have my period
