I've been talking to people and everyone I have spoken to has said that their first pregnancy was their longest, and though the third wasn't necessarily shorter than their second, both were shorter than their first.

Anyone else found this to be true.

My DD was born on her due date and given the condition of my ailing body I'm hoping that I won't be pregnant over the due date, call it my little ray of sunshine.

So shot me down, c'mon tell me statistically that I'm going to have a 13 month pregnancy.

Claireandrich - how did 41+10 and having a cs two days later work out at 42 weeks exactly?

Intrigued as DD was born at 41+9 according to my recently acquired notes and she was born at post-42 weeks!

DD was two days early (although in fact I think she was spot on for ovulation, as I'd ovulated a couple of days early which is how I conceived her in the first place). All the babies in my family seem to be early, although that may be because my mum and my sister are both really thin so didn't have much room for them...erk, if that's logical, current sprog will emerge in a month, not two weeks!

On reading this thread it does seem that the second baby comes earlier, this is great news.

DS was born on due date and I have been wondering what no.2 will do (due 17 Sept). I have read another thread recently where they were saying that the average pregnancy is 40-42wks, so I have been gearing myself up for a 42wk prgn.

With a friend of mine her 1st was 3wks early and the 2nd was 1wk late!
