First c section what do i pack??

Hi i am due to have my first cs just before xmas and was wondering if anyone could give me any suggestons as to what to pack in my hosp bag.

Think I remember you shouldn't use arnica before due to some reason related to bleeding (not sure what long time ago) Fine after though.

Only to add take a shower gel with the hook thingy on it saves you bending down to pick it up....

I would actually say not to go mad with buying maternity pads. Maybe I am the only person in the world who had this - but I really didn't bleed very much afterwards!

I used maybe 4 super thick towels, and then the bleeding was light enough for either ordinary sanitary towels or washable ones. I ended up binning the other 2 packs of maternity pads I had because I didn't need them.

I wondered if it was because they, erm, clean you out when they give you a C-section? Maybe that is just a rubbish theory though if lots of you still bled a lot.

Shower gel with a hook though - simple but genius that - must remember it for next time.
