Was true for me. I felt much worse, and for longer, with my two girl pregnancies than I did with my boy.

SardineJam · 19/11/2009 19:40

Not sick at all - boy

ilovesprouts · 19/11/2009 19:46

ds1 not at all, dd1 little bit, ds2 tons till 14 wks

Francasaysrelax · 19/11/2009 19:49

I've been

sick - boy
very sick - girl

My feeling is that sickness can get worse with each pg, no?

slushy06 · 19/11/2009 20:03

Ds couldn't hold hardly anything down from 4 to 20 weeks

dd little queasy from 8 to 12 weeks

So not true in my case.

Lulumama · 19/11/2009 20:05

very sick from the day after i got my BFP with DS, until around 34 weeks.

quite sick with DD from about 2 weeks after BFP until around 28 weeks

weegiemum · 19/11/2009 20:13

true for me.

dd1 - vomited all day every day until 16 weeks
ds - bit nauseous but not actually sick
dd2 - sick every day till 12/13 weeks (but had other health issues so not sure if they caused the nausea - pain can make you sick, but I did stop being sick even though my kidney trouble continued past 13 weeks)

hormonesnomore · 19/11/2009 20:28

Felt much more nausea with DS (till 20+ weeks)than 2 DDs (till about 16 weeks).

malloo · 19/11/2009 21:03

Not sick at all with DS. Constant nausea in early weeks with DD so was true for me. Other big difference for me was being really moody and hormonal with DD, not DS. In fact, first pregnancy symptom before I knew was having a go at someone at work because they just "annoyed me"!! (very out of character!!). Oh, and craving chocolate with DD when I've never really been big on sweet things.

MrsMattie · 19/11/2009 21:04

boy - very sick for first 16 weeks
girl - hyperemesis

IdrisTheDragon · 19/11/2009 21:06

Sick with DS
Same sick with DD

alana39 · 20/11/2009 12:15

DS1 and 2 - nausea, was sick maybe twice
DS3 - 4 weeks of throwing up, much worse nausea the rest of the time. All the old wives were sure it would be a girl (also apparently the perfectly round bump carried up front meant it was a girl).

All a load of rubbish IME!

1st, not sick = boy
2nd, vile vile vile MS, = boy (well accordingly US).
