Am feeling so awful today , after a terrible nightmare about my unborn baby.
It was so distressing, I woke up and just felt like crying.
We had a bordeline result from nuchal scan in early pregnancy, our eventual result was 1:602.
I have been fine thoughout the pregnancy but now find myself worrying more and more.

The dream last night just confirmed my fears, it was terrible, and I was terrible, I hated myself in the dream

Its knocked me for six and I almost dont want to go into labour now as am scared dream will be true (although most bits of it are impossible).

Is it normal to be like this?

Hi Moss,

I had to see my midwife this week as I had such a vivid dream about this baby being stillborn that I convinced myself it was an omen. She was v reassuring and said it is v v common. I have also had really real dreams about the baby being blind & deaf and us not being able to communicate with it (had an infection at 17 weeks and think it was to do with worries round that). As everyone has said, it is a way of working through subconscious fears, but preg dreams are so real it is like it happened. Hope it's a one off for you
