Anyone else developed Tinnitus in pregnancy?

Anyone else developed Tinnitus in pregnancy? Ringing in my ears started about two months ago.. thought i was going mad, couldn't sleep at all and thought that there was something making the noise in my flat. Doctors weren't very helpful but then i had a blood test and it showed i am anaemic (fairly standard for pregnancy). I happened to notice through browsing on the the web that one symptom of anaemia can be Tinnitus. Just wondered if anyone else has had this...

im 11 weeks today and my ears have been ringing on ad off for the past couple of weeks.ear feels weird and popping every so often too.i just assumed its to do with extra blood or hormones or something.havent had my bloodtest results back yet and im due to have more done at my 12 week scan.

im pretty sure i got it with my last pregnancy too.

have they given you tablets for your anaemia? im on prenatal tablets with iron in so hopefully wont get anaemia this time.i got it both other pregnancies and had iron tablets.

Thank you for your response! I think the ringing must be something to do with the pregnancy as i have never had it before. I did take iron tablets early on but for some reason the doctor told me not to worry about taking them now?! I have been trying to eat more heme-iron foods though. I am less anxious about the ringing now - trying to ignore it and hopefully it will go.

Did people’s tinnitus go? Mine came on out of the blue in pregnancy :(

@RuBaby hi lovely did your tinitus go at all? I’m 18 weeks an experiencing ringing in my left ear it’s driving me mad!

Hi @ftm97001, I'm sorry to say it didn't :( They can't find anything to suggest how it started. Did yours just come on? x
