So, I'm not allowed antihistamines. Any advice on herbal remedies or treatments ? I can't bear another day of constant sneezing !

I see. Thanks Shrub, so basically am filling little spray bottle with water and using it around the house etc.. Great tip!
Is olbas oil safe in pregnancy? Seem to be questioning everything. Have tried the vaseline tonight - seems okay. Thanks

Hi ChaCha, I spoke to my Dr b4 using olbas, he said it was fine, check with your GP if your worried. It does really help espicially with runn eyes+nose.

olbas oil makes my hayfever worse. It irritates me when my nose is sensitive from pollon.

That could just be me though. Anything is worth a try.

Post Nasal Drip

I am apparently suffering from post nasal drip...sensation of lump in throat when swallowing, excess mucous production, sore throat..would really appreciate any information on natural remedies .

I got prescribed Azelastine Hydrochloride nasal spray and eye drops instead, and they have been pretty good. My GP did say though that most of the older antihistamines are considered safe if you are really struggling without any - apparently the ones that have been in use for 30 years or more are considered by default not to do any damage. The newer brands are less tried and tested. So go for the older ones that make you drowsy if necessary.
