I haven't been able to do my jeans up since 5/6 weeks and now I'm really starting to look obviously pregnant. Which is difficult as I wasn't planning on telling people yet (especially as I've had a small bleed, MW said it was too early for a scan and probably OK, but I won't know if it is until 12 weeks).

I am feeling much sicker than last time as well. I know you show sooner with subsequent pregnancies but could this indicate something out of the ordinary eg multiples, or is it within normal range?

Bleurgh I feel crap...

I only looked obv pg with twins, third pg. I told dh it must be twins (no history) before scan as felt so big and awful.

Managed to hide ds1 and dd1 till near the end. I had a bleed early on with ds1 and was sent for a scan, around 8-9wks.

Hello,

I am 13 weeks into my first pregnancy, and I feel huge, someone mentioned IBS but I have Coeliac disease and have been told at my 12 week scan that I was "very gassy". Um, thanks. I have noticed myself being bigger since about four weeks but other people are really noticing now. I feel dumpy and bloated (like I've just eaten four Christmas dinners) but my stomach is quite rounded, coming out from just under my bust line. The midwife also said that it was just bloating at five weeks. I've been in maternity trousers for work since the end of week 8...

Oh good, nice to know it's not just me who feels like she ate too many pies! I have been so ravenous and thank God for the buffet breakfast on holiday last week..
It's really hard as at work you don't want to tell anyone until you get the all clear at 12 weeks - I am around 6 1/2 weeks now and my work skirts don't fit!
What am I supposed to do if people at work notice before I am ready to tell them??

I'm 7+3 and I have a perfectly round bump from below the boobs, everyone asked me if I was pregnant before I knew and now it's literally so obvious, I can't hide it, I've told everyone now though, I had a private scan and everything was okay, plus my mum decided to announce on Facebook before me and my fiancé got chance! I've gone up a whole cup size too, had morning sickness from the day I conceived. Everyone's different in pregnancy, it's not always bloating... some people hold a lot more water in the womb too, remember.
My mum had a bump early but stayed similar to that size. I thought I was having twins, scan confirmed there was just 1.
I have to wear maternity leggings everyday and maternity skirts if I want to dress up a bit more. I'm in night gowns to be more comfortable and have had to buy maternity tops and rearrange my wardrobe so all my bigger fitting clothing is there to grab!

I bloated straight away and couldn't wear my normal clothes because they were too tight. I wore leggings from about six weeks until I was big enough to wear proper maternity jeans. I'm now 35 weeks and I'm HUGE and covered in stretch marks. The hospital consultant said the baby and amniotic fluid are normal size, so my large size is probably due to water retention, bloating and fibroids. It did make it difficult to hide my pregnancy though - people guessed straight away!
