Baby kicks/wriggles so hard it really hurts?

Is this normal? Def wasn't like this with DD. Seriously, it takes my breathaway when she moves now, and you can see my tummy moving/see a leg or whatever sticking out! It is really sore and I am guessing it is going to get worse as she gets bigger? I am 32 weeks so still got 8 weeks left!

hope that it is normal as dc2 doing the same here. By this stage ds kind of pushed outward in various places but was kind of gentle except when he got feet under my ribs which hurt. This baby is like an internal tornado, woe betide any inner or outer parts of host body(me) getting in the way...movements are violent and painful and have been for several weeks (am 31weeks+2days)

Yes mine have been for weeks too but just not this bad! This takes my breath away!

I think about 32 weeks is the hardest for movement. They are big enough and still have enough room to do the dramatic huge elbow movements that are painful and incredible to watch. I think it does ease off when they grow a little more and settle into more established positions with less dramatic movement. My second pregnancy was much more painful with big movements than my first. However, she turned out to be a good pound heavier too, weighed in not far of 10 lbs..

I'm wondering if these are all second babies? If your abdominal muscles are weaker than they were before - sorry - then those punches and kicks will be a lot less contained.

Yes this is my second. Small age group too so my body hadn't recovered from having DD.

I really hope this doesn't mean she is a big baby!

Yes also here with second baby- much harder movements- I am putting it down to weaker muscles and being more sensitive to it.
But I feel your pain sometimes it absolutley kills!
