I have been getting the odd shooting pain at the bottom of my bump sometimes when I forget and stand up too fast, I just did it earlier and it really made me yelp, fall back down and took my breath away.

I had an emergency C-Section last birth which I never encountered any problems with afterwards. my son is nearly 17 months.
I don't think the pain is located actually on or next to my scar though, but inside just above.

Only happens when I forget and jump up too fast if I forget to get up carefully.

Anyone else experience the same - should this be happening, or just normal after a C section. should I be seeing someone about it - always forget to mention it when I see my midwife.

Any advice is appreciated.

Don't know if it's normal - go and see someone. I'm getting worried seeing you on here for so long without an answer.

Thats the strange thing is it then goes away - I've felt nothing today, and then I forget about it for a couple of weeks until I catch myself wrong and do it again.

Did seem worse last night than before, I will try and remember to mention it to MW next week but not sure it warrants an appointment.
Feel silly today

could it be in your pelvis? or does it seem higher than that? I had a lot of bad twinges that I think were caused by my pelvis loosening a little too much, but if you think it could be your scar then do get it checked,no-one will think you are silly, its sensible to follow it up.
