Due yesterday....increasingly dodgy tummy...

Due yesterday and over last few days have had an increasingly 'dodgy' tummy. After so many months of constipation, not sure if it is just my body readjusting since the baby is no longer quite as interested in what I am feeding it or is a sign labour is not far away, or could it be something else that I should worry about?

you have convinced DH - has gone to run a bath.....takes forever with our water pressure, so may be some time to get it deep enough to be useful. Can't decide if I fancy on or not...

What are like honestly it will help!!

onlywantsone · 16/02/2009 21:42

any news?

Beantin · 16/02/2009 21:49

right, well, think waters just broke on kitchen floor on way to bathroom - squatted to deal with 'twinge' and leaked over the floor....

what now? sit on a plastic bag and wait?

WOW!

Ring delivery suite and start timing. Local policies seem to vary, but some want you in once your waters go.

Try to keep relaxed and eat and drink a bit if you can. You can use a super-pad and sit on some towels. It will probably just seep out as you move about.

Very excited, do keep us posted if you can, or get DH to do it!

trixymalixy · 16/02/2009 21:56

OOOh, how exciting.

good luck beantin!!!

nigglewiggle · 16/02/2009 21:57

Keep mobile, it will help things progress more quickly. Good luck

DanJARMouse · 16/02/2009 21:59

dont go in the bath if waters have gone

twocutedarlings · 16/02/2009 22:05

YAY!!! i thought this was it!! but didnt want to get your hope up by saying so!!

Keep active! bounce on your ball, do what feels most comfortable!! get pads at the ready for the leaky waters as they will probably continue to leak, time the contractions!! whoo hoo!!

twocutedarlings · 16/02/2009 22:06

oh and put your Tens machine on (if you have one) and most importantly keep us posted!!

Beantin · 16/02/2009 22:16

So many things to remember ;)

Can't quite get my head around this actually happening....

twocutedarlings · 16/02/2009 22:22

aww tis perfectly normal to feel this way how are the contraction coming along? they will more than likely start and get a little more intense now your water have broke.

stanausauruswrecks · 16/02/2009 22:24

Just been reading this post and wanted to wish you good luck - I found nipple tweaking got my contractions going more strongly (will give DH something to do as well ;) )

Rindercella · 16/02/2009 22:30

Oh my God - how exciting!! Good luck Beantin. Look forward to hearing your birth story

nigglewiggle · 16/02/2009 22:48

Just have faith in your body and go with what it is telling you to do. Don't get tied up in theories and rules at this stage.

Trinityrhino · 16/02/2009 22:53
