Ok so I'm not talking proper baby names im talking whilst still tucked away inside us and we're not sure boy or girl or even if we know... I'm 8+3 days but I'm starting to call my baby "my bean" as thats what it is supposed to resemble at the moment!
I know one girl who named her's "dot", another her "pup" just a bit of fun and wonder what other names people have been calling there "Babies to be!"

pollup - and she's still that now

I was fruit bat (when my Mum was PG with me) and my older bro still calls me that. He's 30 and I'm 21...lol

DS was The Wigglet, DD was The Woo, until DH decided that The Woo was a girl (which she was!!!), she then became The Woolabell. All tiny babies remaib wigglet woos in our house.

Marthasmama · 29/01/2009 22:37

AnathemaDevice · 30/01/2009 08:22

The bump is currently called Fernando, (DH supports Liverpool and likes Fernando Torres more than is normal and healthy for a straight, married man!) I'm really hoping it doesn't stick when s/he finally appears!

Bubbaluv · 30/01/2009 08:33

Bruce.
MIL started it and it has stuck. It will be unstuck once he arrives though!

Newb · 30/01/2009 08:57

Ours is currently "Littl'un."

TheRedQueen · 30/01/2009 09:04

We called DD "B.J.". It stood for [Our Surname][Junior].

dinkystinky · 30/01/2009 09:48

DS was called Sweetpea

No 2 (due in a few weeks) is Squiglet as he squiggles away all bloody day long...

Salem1 · 30/01/2009 10:03

I haven?t got a name for mine but DH calls it Chicco. When I heard him say it I was a bit gobsmacked. But seeing as he has no clue about the X-factor chicco I thought it was sweet.

Hawkmoth · 30/01/2009 11:41

Mnimbo. No reason.

AnarchyAunt · 30/01/2009 11:45

DD was 'the baby'

Friend's DD was 'the dirty little squatter' (it was affectionate, honest)

lastboxoftampons · 30/01/2009 11:57

Hairycatepillar - our last one was Shrimpy too!

This one is Nugget.

wideratthehips · 30/01/2009 12:38

ours have always been cleatus the fetus (this is the third one!)

MrsSharp · 30/01/2009 21:22

Ours is "blueberry". It started off because that week I'd read an email saying the embryo was the size of a blueberry, and it has stuck. All friends and family now calls it "Blueberry".

DS1 was the Bumpling (because he lived in the bump!)

DS2 is known as Danger after we suggested William for a name and someone said 'oh no, he'll be Danger Will Robson! (like Will Robinson from Lost in Space. Some people now think we'd actually call him Danger.

poppysweetie · 01/02/2009 16:53

Ours is dot

GruffaloSoldier · 02/02/2009 13:08

LOL ours has had a few but currently is known as 'Ferret' due to the fact she never stops wriggling and feels like shes trying to dig her way out like a little animal

mummy2t · 02/02/2009 14:24

DS 1 was called " Peanut "
DS 2 was called " Bubba " - Still call him it now lol

minxofmancunia · 02/02/2009 14:35

now am 7+3 with dc 2 and we are calling it "Christmas Pudding" cos that's when he/she was created!

mummy2t · 02/02/2009 14:38

thats a good one minx, my Dc was created new years eve, any suggestions??

shell96 · 02/02/2009 14:43

Ours started as Alien-baby (!) due to the pics of what it would look like when we found at about 7/8 weeks of a little blob with big head and wee body looking rather alien like. Since the 12 week scan with it looking a good bit more baby like it is now just 'baby'

EllieorOllie · 02/02/2009 21:07

my bump has been christened George by DD, who watches far too much Peppa Pig. it now seems to be catching on to the extent that i'm not sure whether he'll ever be known as anything else, despite my plans to call him Cameron. i think i might just give up and make the more popular option official...

Carrie06 · 02/02/2009 21:36

We call ours "the cub", sometimes, the cubette, or el cubino! Cx

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 06/02/2009 21:48

Ours is either Mini-Munchkin (cos I'm the Munchkin apparently) or Kung-Fu Panda cos she's kicking like one!! Yee-ha!
