Can I eat a hotdog?

Is it ok to eat hotdogs while pregnant? I really fancy one but have read about listeria etc....Anyone know?

I'd say yes as there is probably no meat in it!!

Try a vegetarian hot dog - the smoked ones, Tesco do good ones - very similar and very safe.

Thanks ladies. I ate two last night in buns. Made sure they were heated really thoroughly all the way through. Weren't as good as I remembered though......oh well.

I love these at the moment, so I hope not! I don't see why there would be any problems - they are already cooked etc.
