Hi,

For anyone who has not heard about this from a midwife or doctor, i only found out from a pregnant friend yesterday but am going to ask my midwife about it next week.

There is a new government grant available called the Health in Pregnancy grant. It's a one off payment of £190 and the only conditions for claiming are that you are over 25 weeks pregnant and your due date is on or after 6 April 2009.

Check out links:

My theory is, i pay that much in taxes that if the government is going to give me a wee bit back then i shall make sure to claim it!
