Missed a period, son is 5 months. Is this normal post-baby weirdness or could I be pregnant?

I have done 2 tests and they were both negative, the 1st one was when I was a few days late, the 2nd test was last week. I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnant (it is possible but chances are slim) but I'm approaching the point where my AF is due again, so if it doesn't arrive that'll be 2 I've missed (last one started 19th Nov 08). I had occasional nausea which comes andgoes and is not so bad now, but that was what made me wonder, IYSWIM.

I know its normal for a woman's cycle to be irregular after giving birth, and my son is approaching 5 months old. But the first 2 periods I had after having him were regular as clockwork. Could I be pregnant? It seems unlikely.. What are the possible causes of my no show?? I've heard stress can stop things, but that doesn't explain the slight nausea between meals. Surely if I conceived, the pregnancy hormones would be strong enough by now to show up on tests? I used a clearblue digital last time...

It's doing my head in a bit not knowing. If I don't get AF soon I thought about going to the docs, but I don't want to waste their time

@Mommy2Luke I’m exactly the same my wee boy in 15 weeks old and my 3rd period is late. Had 2 negative tests. How did you get on?

Just seen your post, my daughter is 16 weeks old on Monday 3rd Aug and my 3rd period is also 10 days late. I have taken 2 pregnancy test both came back negative. Did you eventually get your period? How did you get on?

Did anyone find out if they were pregnant? I’m currently going through the same thing my last period was 8 weeks ago I’ve now just missed my second period with negative tests. My baby was born in November and my first two cycles after having baby were spot on

My period was 10’days late - pregnancy and birth meds your period up !

I know it messes up your periods but I’m 8 weeks late🤷‍♀️

Hi, im currently 4 months PP, got my first period back when my son was just about to turn 2 months. Then another period around the same date next month. Now my 3rd period is late. I've done 4 pregnancy tests, all were negative 100%.

Did anyone find out what was going on? As i see many had the same thing going on.

I’m now in cycle day 83 and still nothing all tests are negative I spoke to the gp and they said to call back when it’s been 4-6 months without a period🤷‍♀️

Turns out I was pregnant after all I now have a beautiful baby boy

@Lizzy120 I'm the same. Have done 2 tests and they are negative but will do another next week and keep going I guess unless period arrives. Also, maybe TMI but I had a lot of thick cervical mucus which is usually when you're ovulating I know but I can't be as didn't get my period since last month...

And I'm 5 months postpartum and had period last month...
