Called my midwife this morning, she wanted to do a sweep as I'm 41 weeks today. Discovered that because we moved over the border (only three miles but from Herts to Essex) she can't visit me at home. So I had to call an Essex hospital (Harlow) and get someone from there to come out and see me. Am now waiting to see if they can.
To complicate things baby is booked in at a Cmabridgeshire hospital, Addenbrookes Talk about continuity of care! Thing is if I had known I would have changed doctor when we moved, I kept the same Herts doctor because they'd been our family doctor for nearly 20 years.
Why didn't they tell me this when we moved!
