Who thinks i may be pregnant???

How soon after conception did you think or 'know' u were pregnant??? IF I am this would be our 4th child 4 and under (eek!) We used 'withdrawal' on new years eve and Im worried I could be pregnant. Have felt like my periods going to start for the last week (crampy) and had shooting pains in boobs. last night I felt really drugged, warm face, fuzzy feeling like it was too much effort to smile. Still b/feeding almost 7m old baby but got periods back w the other 2 children at 7 months. Felt sure I was pregnant last night but not as certain if Im just paranoid now. The thing thats making me worry is I had 'fertility' signs the day after. What do you all think???

it's likely. You'd be 12/13 dpo by now so could be getting early symptoms.

The only time I got symptoms before af was due I miscarried a week later. When I was pg with ds I didn't get pregnancy symptoms until I was about 6 weeks gone. I'm pg now and only just coming up to 5 weeks and so far only one episode of nausea, so following a similar pattern. Everyone's different, only time will tell.

Wow thats gone quick! Didnt think I could test yet, may get some off ebay. How likely is it to conceive even if the 'ending' happened outside me? I know it only take one lil swimmer. I was also the randiest Ive been for ages so that makes me worry I was fertile!

With my first I didn't feel pregnant until 3 weeks after conception but had no idea how I was supposed to feel anyway...had been very crampy for a few days and then the boobs started - that's when I did a test as sore boobs with periods are unusual for me. With the second I didn't feel anything until 4 weeks after conception (also had fertility signs the day after) and even then all very mild, but I did get a positive pregnancy test 11 days after so that's obviously your best bet to be sure - rather go get one pronto than worry yourself needlessly.

Its still quite possible to get preggers when the "ending happened outside" as men always "leak" a bit before the big finale!

I've been convinced that I was pregnant sooooo many times and funnily enough was convinced that I wasn't when I was!
The problem is that pre-menstral symptoms are so similar to pregnancy symptoms, the only way to really tell is by testing.
I know that it is possibly to get pg from withdrawl method but TBH my n DP used it for years before TTC and not one accident. Maybe I'm just less fertile, dunno.

It was 'not pregnant'! Not convinced though, Ive had false negatives before from testing too early. xxhunyxx were you wanting to be preg when you thought you were then werent? My mate thinks Im more likely to not be imagining it as we DEF were not planning anymore for a long while!Still got the pms kinda cramps Ive had for over a week now. Also keep getting a sharp headache at top of my head and Im not a headache person. Gona get tests of ebay, think they maybe better than the digital test as itl show if really faint.Will keep you posted. Gona be embaressing if Im not,lol but Ill be relieved!

Randy = def sign of being v fertile IME.... both our conceptions have been when I was totally on for it. Made DH come home early for work for a quickie - that turned out to be DS!

I totally agree, withdrawal cannot be considered as contraception. What can I say, it was a moment of passion .

Heh heh AnybodyhomeMcfly - same with both our conceptions too!!

I used a First Response test with this baby which gave a very faint positive and only after a good 5 minutes at 11 days past conception (which was also the day I'm pretty sure I ovulated) - the Boots one I did later on that afternoon (not believing the first test!) didn't show up at all. It was only a couple days later that the second Boots one did, so yeah, could be that the Clearblue isn't sensitive enough - never used one so dunno!

a digital test measures a higher level of HCG so will not be as accurate as say a FR.

My current +ve didn't show a 'pregnant' until 3 days after the FR was very obviously pink.
