I have to say no, unfortunately, I was 3/5th engaged and 3cm dialated at 33 weeks. DD was born at 40+6.

Hi Dinny, was 3/5th at 33 weeks, asked my midwife the same question and she said baby can 'bob in and out'. And I am nearly 40 weeks now. x

first baby so shortish laour of 7 hours but only 15 mins pushing!

I'm pretty sure my dd (first child) engaged at around 32 weeks and arrived at 37 +3. But ds (second) didn't engage till much later and turned up at 37 weeks exactly. Not sure if that proves anything.

Hi - my 3rd baby 2/5ths engaged at 32 weeks and now have 9 days to go and nothing seems to have changed! Very frustrating 3rd time round with days of contractions then all stops...aaahhh
