10.5 weeks preg. Vomiting and D'hea for 3 days - what should I eat?

Everything I eat comes back up. Perhaps I'm eating the wrong things? Any ideas as to what should I eat that might stay down? Am up at night with nausea and vomiting then DS up at 6am, so not much sleep. Am starting to feel extremely exhausted and it's hard to look after 12 month old DS. Any tips?

Well my gp suggested the following foods can help with d'hea carrots and potatoes particularly mashed together in equal quantities and also bananas. It's a very common prescription here in Belgium.

He also said eat anything you fancy that you can keep down even if it is for example choc or fried chicken anything is better than nothing is his theory.

If it's that bad, just try glucose/lucozade tablets and water?

I've just had a day of eating nothing after a stomach upset - can you get some help looking after DS so you can just lie in bed?

i was advised when i had salmonella that potatoes, boiled, served with a bit of plain yogurt was good. i love it actually, add some salt and pepper for flavour and sometimes a bit of olive oil too.

bananas are excellent too

lots of water,

and tea is good

conversely fresh squeezed lemon juice can alleviate nausea i find, a discovery when i had food poisoning

have you got a fever?

and don't worry baby will be FINE, they are the parasite on you and take everything they need from you

you need to rest as much as you can - you poor thing. i'm 15 wks pg and had the bug for about a week, lost 4 kilos and felt shocking, i am so sorry for you!
