I'm 10 weeks and have had slight spotting for 2 days now. My previous pregnancy ended in a miscarriage at 5 weeks then I fell pregnant straight away again.
Phoned the midwife yesterday and she said to go to A&E if I get any pain, or the docs if I'm still spotting tomorrow (Sunday today).
I've had a headache since yesterday too - not sure if that's related, but had one when I miscarried last time.
I don't have any pain or cramps - is this a good sign?

Guess I could just do with some support and any experiences you might have. Thanks.

I'm not sure I can console you much but I have 2 DDs and had 3 early miscarriages between them. I bled (ranging from slight spotting to heavy bleeding) with ALL my pregnancies.

There's no way anyone can say 100% which way your pregnancy will go - do you have any other feelings of pregnancy ie feeling sick etc?

I feel for you - it's a really difficult time, but don't give up hope. Do you have a child already?

Please go to your GP tomorrow and insist on getting a scan - this may put your mind at rest.

Sending you hugs.

No experience of spotting, but I was pouring with bright red blood at 7 weeks with the most horrendous cramps, went to my EPU a couple of days later after being talked into taking a test, had an internal examination and was told to come back in 3 days for a scan. Went back - and there was beany beating away on the screen

Try not to worry, easier said than done I know. I've had a mc before and so have spent my pregnancy so far constantly knicker/toilet paper checking

Do give your EPU a call though, explain your worries and ask if you can pop in for an examination - they can't refuse.

Thanks, will go see my GP tomorrow if it's still happening and take it from there. Hopefully it's nothing serious and all will be well.
Other pg symptoms still seem to be there so trying to stay positive.
Thanks for your posts

Was bad news sadly, no heartbeat.

I'm so sorry scarlotti. Don't give up hope - look after yourself and try to get a good break over Christmas.

One doctor mentioned to me when I was going through my miscarriages - most people do manage to have a baby even after several miscarriages - you just have to keep trying.

Best wishes.
