does that mean I've already had a show and not noticed it?

and when oh when the hell will I go into labour? 3cm dilated is pretty good, right? (PG3)

am 38 + 1 and losing my mind...had contraction type pains last night (not BH type) but nothing happened! I'm so huge and sore and belly is so tight that I can't begin to entertain the thought that I'll make it to EDD...bloody SPD makes it impossible for me to get any sleep...oh god I'm soooooooooo fed up!

a friend of mine was 3cm for about 2 weeks with her second

and then had him one night on the bathroom floor in 30 mins! really!!

When I Had my first my show was very small and I hardly saw it, several friends missed theirs entirley. I hate to say it but labour can be a long drawn out affair, i started with pains ( mild) on sat at 11am and did not give birth till monday 8am. It will come, hang in there and take a walk and eat because you wont want to when it really starts!

oh god dinny - I don't want that!!

hoping that this labour will be a nice wee 5 hour affair - enough time to get dc's sorted, and to get an epidural and nicely settled in at the hospital....aaah...it's not going to happen like that is it? DC1 - 16 hours labour, DC2 - 8-ish hours....

am dreading it and can't wait for it in equal measures

Kitkat - I was 3cm from 34 weeks until DD was born at 40+5 - contracting madly from 38weeks onwards then it all suddenly happend and DD was born in 7 hours.
