... what would it be?

Mine would be the lethargy. I'm 37+3 and I really am too tired to move. I have so much to do Christmas-wise, house-wise and organisation-wise, yet I struggle to even get out of the bath. Truth be told, I struggle to get INTO the bath.

Heartburn, I can take Gaviscon. Backache, I can take paracetamol. Insomnia, I can have a sleep the next day. Loo visits, hormones, lack of appetite, all horrible but bearable. But the awful lack of energy is a nightmare.

I was very lucky during my pregnancies but would happily have got rid of getting up in the night to go for a wee, especially as it was winter and the house was freezing.

The feeling of being hungry and then getting something to eat but suddenly feeling too sick to eat it although I want to eat it.

Pinkjennybellrock · 12/12/2008 13:17

Or the feeling of being hungry but never quite knowing what you fancy to eat.

thequietone · 12/12/2008 13:17

The bloody great varicose vein in my fanjo.

Amapoleon · 12/12/2008 13:18

Oooh constipation, (and piles...) Nobody wans you about that one!!

crazyloon1 · 12/12/2008 13:29

Nausea. With absolutely no doubt whatsoever - it made my two pregnancies utterly miserable for at least half of them.

If someone invents a magic anti nausea thing that works, I'll have three more babies.

Kitteh · 12/12/2008 13:54

sickness
and kitteh - re being sick in public - i've done this a few times, and you'll be surprised how sympathetic people are
if you're really worried and you have to be somewhere public, carry your blue notes with you and wave them about!
i was chucking in waitrose car park in front of a massive 4x4 (nightmare scenario!). it stopped and the guy got out, i thought he was gonna have a real go, as i was in the parking space he wanted to be in, but he offered to help me walk to the wall and was really sweet
when i told him i was pregnant, he said his missus (passenger) spotted i was straight away, as i was holding my hair back with 1 hand and clutching a pear with the other!

char24 · 12/12/2008 14:49

Feeling sick and a new one on me is sinus issues related to hormones so I have not breathed through my nose in 2 months!!!
Regarding the exhaustion, i hate to be the barer of bad news but you wait till the baby is born!!!

MKG · 12/12/2008 15:53

sciatica--there's nothing like random ass twitching and pain in the middle of the grocery store.
