Hi I am in NE of england and we would only see a consultant if we opted for Consultant led care.
I do know some of my friends who where oveweight had to have glucose tests of some sort - something to do with thier BMI being over 30?

Could be wrong though.
Which hospital is it?

Yes its Sunderland Royal Hospital

I am from sunderland but live in Durham now.
Consultant Mr Hinshaw is very good I believe.

I am sure its nothing to worry about.
Just give your midwife a call to put your mind at rest.

Good luck
I am due in March 09 btw
