I had my 20 week scan on thursday. I asked the sonographer and she said she definately saw an "apendage"(sp) down below and was absoloutly sure it was a boy.

We are very excited about this as we already have 3 beautiful girls. Not only that but I am one of 3 girls, my older sis has 3 girls and my younger sis has 1 girl. Dh's older brother has 1 girls. So this wil be the first boy grandchild for both sets of grandparents.

After having so many girls in the family it seems really weird to be told i'm expecting a boy.

Out of curiousity I just wandered if anyone has previously been told that they were definately having a boy, only to be confornted by a little girl a few months later.

I, of course, would not be dissapointed if I had another girl (I do love my girlies), but I do feel it would be nice to have a boy for my dh and dad.

Thanx

To shootfromthehip, your DS that turned out to be a DD, what made them say it wasa boy at the scan? Did they think they could see testicles? At my scan they said they thought they could see testicles but not a willy so was sure it must be a boy but now I'm confused!
