how possible is it to have a false negative?

this has probably been covered before.

have dc 2.7, 13 months.dc1 planned dc2 unplanned

period has gone missing.

at 8 days late i got a negative test and was so releived. now 16 days late. could first test be wrong.

dont want to waste money on another test.

feel like real shit for 2 weeks now as cant shift a cold i've got.(i'm praying thats all it is)

we used condoms since got coil removed for colsposcopy treatment. had 1 normal period bang on time. nothing since. we did start having sex ONCE (in the middle of night) and stopped to put condom on half way through. so technically we have had unprotected sex once.

after treatment i've had what i'd call a perfect period. 28 days, 7 days period, never heavier than regular tampon. same as i usually get BC
