When bump appears - does your height/ body length make it show later?

Im quite tall - about 5ft11, pre preg size 10 to 12. I've already put on a bit of wt around my belly but loads of people keep saying i wont show for ages as Im tall/ have a long body (like Nicole Kidman- not me like her, as in she didnt show for ages!)

Anyone had experience of this? This is my first DC, im 31.

Congrats Cat! Are you due mid March?

I am 5'2" and normally size 6. What height I have is in my legs not my torso. I look like a flipping weeble when pregnant! It doesn't help that my norks get really big too.

Same here, 5'10, sort of size 12. Definitely showed later than many women. Still fitted some of my normal trousers at 27-28 weeks (although I do have quite a lot of loose fitting clothing!). Of course, I (and people who see me regularly) noticed my extending belly, but generally, not very noticeable.

Also had a scare a couple of weeks ago when I was deemed "small for dates" when the measured the fundal height, only for the scan to show that actually everything was fine, just baby was very low and, with my height, baby just generally had a bit more room.
