Can anyone help me make this decision? I didn't expect to have a choice as I've been a bit slow off the mark, but now the descision has stumped me!
Anyone got any experience of these consultants?
Thanks!

I had my baby with Keith Duncan as I had read great reviews about him, and he was one of the few available at the time. I have to say he is very good at his job, however I found him a bit impersonal and cold. As a first time mum I needed a bit more warmth and explanations to things. Being as expensive as it is I was expecting more care and attention, but I always felt rushed. I have no doubt in his credentials, but for my second baby I'll definitely chose someone else with a bit more compassion.

I entirely second what mamma2000 has written...we went with KD because of his credentials, not because of a cheerful bedside manner. I wish we had gone with someone who incorporated a bit more personality and 'care' into his practice. I now also have serious qualms about the level of attention that he gives his private patients...we felt outright neglected during my difficult labour and I would never recommend him to a friend.
