I'm on the borderline with the enhanced maternity package at work (will have worked there for 1 year in the 15th week before EWC - can't quite work out - think I'm ok but not comfortably so). How flexible are doctors with due dates?!!! Would be good to be 5 days later than I think I actually am if you know what I mean. Haven't yet been to see doc - appointment later this week... First time pregnant so any advice gratefully received

Do you have a very regular cycle? My scan date was 12 days different from my LMP date this time round, and ds1 was quite overdue.

I found they stuck with LMP unless wildly out. I would get straight your LMP and "new" due date in your head and stick with it and you may be ok. Worth a try. Depends on your employer but I suspect that honesty not always the best policy!

Thanks so much for all the help BetsyBoop... I will add on four days to be on the safe side - then hopefully they won't alter my due date after the scan.

My cycle is bang on 28 days, elkiedee, so hopefully should be about right...

I'm usually a very honest person (honest ), please don't think badly of me!!!

I'd think you were daft if you didn't get a bit, er, "forgetful" about your dates in this case!
Good luck.
