I found a Web site for anyone on the name trail...

We're expecting July / August and I've got a little spreadsheet running ... may share our fantabulous names when the list is a little more refined, or wait a while and just post the sex-appropriate ones should our 20 week scan reveal anything...

Anyway, I came across a site where you can view an impressive java program in your browser and see how popular a name has been this last century ! Well worth a look:

4kids - Ebony is such a beautiful name. I always imagine a little girl with curly black hair, dark brown eyes and porcelain coloured skin.

My ds is called Toby. I don't know ANY other Toby's..... around here it's a common name for a dog unfortunately!! My dd is called Elizabeth Anne..... which I thought wasn't that common anymore. I was wrong! There seem to lots of Elizabeths (Beths).

I don't think there are any Morpheuses out there ... but there are Trinities. I know one Trinity, and it appears on both sites as a name ...

Girls names more staid - Hannah, Emma, Bethany and Shannon.

DD is not on the list.

this site is really cool. It is based on the Wandsworth register but I look at it for some idea about the popularity of names (ds, dp & I don't reach double figures, which really sets up a challenge for finding a name for no.2!)

Toothache- u r close 2 what my Ebony looks like in your description in what u amagine a Ebony would look like . My Ebony has brown ringlets , brown eyes & light brown skin all my kids r mixed race people say i should of named dt Ebony & Ivory no way poor things could u amagine that.
