I am finding despite the ailments that I am really enjoying this bit
Loving the body - enjoying having the little person inside still!
Feeling so 'full' of my dp ( does that sound odd)

I do not think i normally feel able to enjoy this bit - maybe it is summer baby but its just lovely, I am savouring this feling

Am I alone?

Franny, I'm with you. And it's only been in this last week I have turned into a proper grump but I am so uncomfortable and in pain and tired and irritable all the time. DD (2) is fab but watching a lot of films - no maternity leave for SAHMs who don't use nursery or playgroup - but thankfully I have a v helpful mother nearby..!! I could do ANYTHING today as she is at Nanna's for two nights - but its so hot I am struggling to think of anything... might go and buy loads of magazines or go to the cafe for a fry-up...

Will def try to have more positive outlook - am only 38 weeks too so potentially could have 4 more weeks of uncomfortable crossness

FrannyandZooey · 04/07/2008 11:36

it's the not knowing, partly, isn't it
am control freak anyway so that doesn't help
well i am due today

well what now then?

ButterflyMcQueen · 04/07/2008 11:38

might have to ask for the thread to be deleted

today so far i am really relishing loathing being pregnant

all i have done is walk from room to room - sat down in each - cried in each

rung dp and howled down phone about how he needs to come home now

had bath

got back on bed in bra and knickers and back on mumsnet

i am supposed to be dyeing deckchairs!

oh yes yes I am sure it DOES mean hyper hormonal activity, yes you're right

Pruni when you say you ate all the meat, were you actually in M+S when you ate it? Please say yes. I want to think of a vastly pg woman stuffing whole chickens into her mouth and appalling everyone.

I am due on Thursday and cannot wait - really fed up being stuck at home, am used to being a busy bee! Doesn't help my 2 friends with same due date as me have had there's already and with really short labour! And everyone keeps texting to ask if i'd had it yet! I want to scream!!

MiniMarmite · 05/08/2008 15:42

Thanks for starting this thread ButterflyMcQueen. I'm 38+3 and was just feeling waddly and fat and all my NCT class have given birth except me...but now I think I will make the most of having LO to myself for a few more days
