Worried my 16 week private scan may have got sex wrong

Worries my 16 week private scan was wrong. I have got my head set on it now being a girl. Anyone want to give any input on these scans?

I don't think they ever guarantee to 100% accurate.

Its a 50/50 chance of being a girl 🥰

Honestly I think this is why the 16 week scans are just a waste of money for gender, it is really early and can quite easily be wrong. Especially mistakenly a girl when the “parts” just weren’t quite visible yet. Two of my friends in the last year had 16 week gender scans at Window to the womb and told girl only to see a very obvious (if you know what I mean🤣) boy at their 20 week scan.

They can’t be very accurate at that stage, so very possibly wrong. It’s too early. Why did you have it done?

I was lucky with both of mine that both were extremely obvious. My DD’s 16 week scan had 3 bright white lines on and my DS opened his legs so we had a full image of his testicles and penis in the shape you’d draw if you were being childish and drew one 🫠😂 post the pic here!

All 3 of mine that I had between 15/16 weeks have been accurate. I never told them at the 20 weeks scan I knew what we were having and just asked them to see if they could see and each time confirmed what we heard at the earlier private scan ~ I felt more confident having it confirmed twice.

i think 16 weeks can sometimes be a bit borderline. DD1 was 20 weeks and hers was very clear. DD2 we got at 16 and they weren’t 100%, they said 80% girl but they caught a visual of something which turned out to be cord but the angle made it look potentially like boy bits. We got a free rescan at 20 where they confirmed girl.

We had it done as that was on the websites recommended weeks time have the scan done. I did upload some photos but these are still under review. Thank you for everyone's responses so far.
