So I am back with an update, after my hcg levels only rising 12% we were convinced this was not a viable pregnancy we had a scan 2 weeks ago that showed a 5 week 2 days gestational sac and an embryo and heartbeat but it was to small to be measured, we went into our scan today... twins! I was in so much shock, they couldn't see twin b properly as it was pressed up against the womb wall so couldn't see a heartbeat, twin a has a heartbeat but it was much slower than they would like it to be, these are twins in the same gestational sac, the sac only measured 6 weeks 2 days so has only grew a week ahead so is measuring 1 week behind. I have a repeat scan in a week has anyone had something similar they can share there experience, good or bad outcomes in trying to prepare myself.
