Im a SAHM this time round as first time round i was working full time and doing 3-4 nights a week overtime but my body was full of energy but my head was knackered

Now its the other way round...im so exhausted, i walk everywhere as no car this time round, my body ached and ive got SPD in my fanjo but in my head im awake -ish!

So could have I - although I am working and studying full time rather than being a sahm. I seriously do not know how you stay at home mums do it - at least at work I get to sit down and there is less mess and whining going on (well actually maybe thats not true lol).

I bet in your first pregnancy you treated yourself differently and so did everyone else. This time well...you just have to get on with things dont you. Last time if you felt sick/tired/aching/hormonal/emotional you probably had a nap or watched a film or went for coffee etc. This time you are probably chasing errant child, frantically tidying up and trying to stop your head falling off from the thought of everything that needs doing!

Can anyone have your daughter for a bit for you to give you some time to yourself? I have got to 30 weeks and am at the point of collapse - although I have been suffering with hyperemesis and its only just easing towards normal morning sickness so am very physically run down. My job is very flexible over the summer and although I felt awfully guilty about it at first I have left ds in nursery (hes 2 and a perfect example of the terrible twos!) so that I can at least spend some time without any demands on me. Saying that that means I spend a couple of hours a day on myself - maybe a coffee and a nap and the rest doing housework that desperately needs doing but still.

Could you maybe book yourself in for a massage or some reflexology - something relaxing - just for an hour whilst someone has her? Might make the world of difference

Really hope you find some time to be kind to yourself.
