What do Braxton Hicks feel like?

I never had any with ds. Am 37 weeks, and a couple of times a day I am getting this quite oofy sweeping pain all around the bottom of my bump
it builds up like a burning feeling and lasts for a few minutes
is it BH?

how does that happen? just everyday activities or are you a contortionist or something?

Oh the usual stuff, getting out of bed is a popular one, I'll wake up and find I've had my arm hanging out of bed and it's dislocated at shoulder, elbow and wrist and because it's been out a few hours it won't simply pop back in. It's surprisingly painful.

However I can contort my body into some surprising shapes - though not often intentionally! I've been told to avoid doing the splits because it's hard to get me into an ambulance in that position!

Ha! You should ask my DH about it, can you imagine taking a woman to bed that bends every which way once, but then cannot untie the knots?

ours went hideously wrong for a bit - not enough 'brown' in the compost bin and it smelt like Glastonbury toilets, but dp forked it all over with loads of cardboard and it seems to be getting nice and hot and mulchy now
god knows what we do when full as it won't be ready yet, and we haven't enough space to start another
but it is easy, really (says the woman who hasn't done any of it except save her apple cores)
