Chemical?

Hi, I need advice I’m 4w4d (17 days past ovulation today ) I had positive tests since 8DPO but last few days they seems the same bit getting any darker I’m not spotting or bleeding I live in Uk should I contact early pregnancy unit? I’m 40 years old and had missed miscarriage back in June at 8 weeks. Had anyone experienced this? Is this a chemical pregnancy?

@curliegirlie @sleepykt today tests I just done definitely Amazon packs of tests easy@home are different from eBay. I’m confused as it’s darker but not as dark should be for 19 DPO 👀🤯😫

Those look absolutely fine! These were mine at 20dpo (FMU) and I am now 25 weeks with the little one kicking away inside me! Honestly, I know it’s difficult, particularly if you’ve suffered any losses, but you’ve got no reason to be worried at this stage. I wish you all the luck.

@curliegirliecongratulation ❤️ I had dye stealer by 19 dpo with both my children before so that’s why I feel that something is definitely not right this time :/

This is a different pregnancy, implantation day was potentially different. If you look at my 20dpo tests, below, those weren’t dye-stealers yet, but all was ok xx

this morning test is almost invisible so I guess it’s getting closer :(

do you usually tests in the morning? My morning ones are awful I drink too much at night.

@sleepykti always test in the day but this time i tried in the morning as i thought if in still pregnant it will show stronger line but obviously today it’s real proof this pregnancy is not viable obviously but i knew this just wanted this to be over. How are you feeling? ❤️

I am trying to remain hopeful! My test last night was a bit darker than previously but light still for 20dpo.

have you requested blood tests?

Not sure EPU would do that at under 6 weeks and without any bleeding. It’s just a waiting game at this stage unfortunately.

Yes they won’t unfortunately. I will be 6 weeks next week so may ask for scan

My tests suddenly dipped today to very faint. No longer hopeful over here!

@Mum285so sorry to read that. The test we’re looking ok until yesterday but must have just nosedived 😢. At least that should mean the HCG won’t be hanging round for long - my first MC which can’t have been more than 5 weeks took 3 weeks for tests to completely fade after the bleeding. It was torturous…
