Pregnancy Advice - Can Anyone Help?

Hello everyone. My partner and I have decided to start trying. We Did the deed on August 22nd during my ovulation. My period is due on Monday 8th September. I would just like to know a few things for future reference if possible?

I have read many bad reviews in regards to First Response tests giving false negatives. Has anyone else had this experience and should I stick with Clear Blue? Also, at what stage do you start to feel pregnancy symptoms and is it normal not to feel nauseous for some women? I feel absolutely nothing and am guessing it hasn't worked this time but could I be too early to feel anything? I'm worried because of the dates that I may take a test next week and it will give a false negative even if I am late on my period.

Thank you in advance for the help!

You mentioned you had sex on August 22nd. Although it only takes "one" it would of course be wise to have sex more often before and during your fertile period.

If it's just an app telling you when you're fertile, consider tracking LH to be sure that the app is relatively accurate (it can't know when you ovulate).

Also do consider posting on the Conception board whilst you're TTC, lots of info and tips and people in the same boat there.

A digital need a bit longer to work so I wouldn’t rule yourself out just yet! Have you taken any other tests again?

Even if it is negative, and your period doesn’t come in the next week. I would 100% go and see your GP because not having a period can also mean something that should be looked at, if your cycles are normally ‘regular’
I truly hope you finally get that BFP soon 💕
