Scan at 5 weeks - what to expect?

Hi all, I have a scan at the EPU tomorrow at exactly 5 weeks. What can I expect at this stage? Cb weeks test is showing 2-3 weeks today so hcg might not be high enough to see anything? My partner is taking time off to support me but I don’t want him to do that if there will be nothing to he seen.

@Fletchasketchthank you! I was happy for a couple of hours and then I started worrying about the next scan! Think I need to step away from these pregnancy forums for a bit, I had no idea so much could go wrong!
