Conception from just the tip?

Hi! don’t suppose anyone could give me some advice?
Me and my Partner were fooling around and he put the tip of his Penis inside me, it did not go all the way inside just in and out (i suffer with vaginismus) although he didn’t ejaculate i’m worried about pre cum? (we usually use condoms) i have worked out i am in my fertile window too, do i have any chances of conceiving if it wasn’t full penetration, only the head of the penis? thank you:)

You say no penetration but what you describe the tip did penetrate you, you didn’t have full penetration but he did penetrate you!! (That’s a lot of penetrates in once sentence lol)

To the penitentiary with you!

Cookingupmyfirstbornson · 01/09/2025 17:12

It's a low chance but not a NO chance

MummySleepDeprived · 01/09/2025 17:18

My friend has a pre cum baby in her 30s. Just a little fooling around and casual pull out method- although in her case married with a kid and not trying for more but ok with the risk.

If you aren't ok with the risk, best get a pill and then decide on firmer contraceptives.

You're most likely to want sex in your fertile window anyway so this could easily err slip in again.

because i read from other people it’s unlikely, i just wanted to see people’s opinions

Other people are right, unlikely but possible! Doesn’t matter that it was ‘just the tip’ as that’s the bit a pre cum would come from. Take the emergency pill just to be safe but it’s really unlikely.

powershowerforanhour · 01/09/2025 17:44

Unlikely but possible. Nobody is going to be able to quantify the risk as I doubt a squad of boffins with clipboards, measuring tapes and stopwatches have ever stood around a statistically significant number of shag- events, crunched the correct equations and worked out that 18.5mm of penis in contact with a vagina for 58 seconds , corrected for age of participants and number of tequila slammers consumed by each equals a 0.0832% risk of pregnancy with a confidence interval....bigger than the penis.

Take the MAP, cross your fingers, pregnancy test if you don't get your period on time and in the meantime, sort out more reliable contraception that is more "getting carried away" proof.

even if it happened for a minute ish, no full penetration involved just the head of the penis?

A minute ish.. as in like 60 seconds? Because that's much more than just an in and out. Unlikely still but there could be quite a bit of pre cum in 60 seconds.

sorry let me re explain myself, i meant in and out as in he was thrusting the tip in and out of my vagina for a minute ish, it didn’t just go in for 2 seconds, does that make sense?

I don’t think they misunderstood you, they were explaining it’s not exactly once in and out, it’s lots of in and out, prolonged time is marginally more likely that once in and out

Well more likely to than if it was just one accidental slip in yes, but still unlikely. Just take the pill

You have exposed a potential egg to potential sperm you potentially are at risk of pregnancy.

None can say if this is a 1% or 10% or 0.001% chance. Even if the chance is 1 in 1000 there is no way of knowing if you are the 1 that conceived under these circumstances or the 999 that don't.

Reframe the question. If in 2 weeks time you did get a positive pregnancy tests how would you feel about this? If it would be detrimental to you err on the side of caution and seek advice re emergency contraception especially the benefits of the pill Vs the coil due to where you are in your cycle.
If you would make the best of the situation should you be pregnant whilst not part of your plan something you could adjust to roll the dice and wait to see if you get a positive or negative pregnancy test in 2 weeks.

I am not ttc right now but i always said if i ended up pregnant i would keep it. I was just more interested to see if ‘dick tip’ sex that resulted into pregnancies were common. It wouldn’t be necessarily ideal right now but im not really freaking out if i am. does that make sense?

I got pregnant on the pill, using a condom and he didn’t finish
the condom broke but as I was taking the pill every day at the same time to the minute I figured it was fine and I also have stage 4 endo

it wasn’t

Kneeboobs · 01/09/2025 20:11

I did!!

Wolfiefan · 01/09/2025 20:53

Sounds like you want people to say you’ll be fine. Then you hope you’ll actually end up pregnant then you can shrug and say you’ll keep it.
If you’re not mature enough to use proper protection then don’t have sex.

question, did he fully ejaculate and how much of the penis was entered?

You’re messing about here with a potential life. Why are you behaving so stupidly? 🤷‍♀️

i am not behaving ‘stupidly’ at all. I am on here and speaking to people about their takes on what i’ve said, you’re just being rude and ignorant and i can not be bothered for it. i am not messing around with life at all. you do not know me or my background so please just leave this thread.

"I am not ttc right now but i always said if i ended up pregnant i would keep it."

The popularity of the laissez faire, passive, coin toss approach to the most important decision of most people's lives never ceases to amaze me.

No, but I can guess, and a baby at this point won't make it all better. Look after yourself Flowers
