Thank you for your kind words of support. Means a lot to me. I have been trying for at least 2 years but always wanted a baby. If I find out I'm not pregnant, I'll see if anybody can support me on how to go about getting pregnant. Thank you again for your help.

I'm 6 days late for my period. Hope this will be the sign I need too xx

Have you tried a normal pregnancy test?

Amuseaboosh · 31/08/2025 11:17

Well.... I've shown a few people my test and they can see both lines! Doesn't take a scientist to work out

Then why are you asking lay people, randoms on the internet?

You're very rude. TTC is not an excuse, especially when people are taking time to help you.

Work on your issues, it'll only benefit you.

Finally, most people on a TTC journey and using MN to discuss it, use conventional pee stick tests. What you're showing here wouldn't be commonly seen.

Mummywannabe36 · 31/08/2025 11:18

Yes. They came back with faint lines on 4 different non-digital clear blue tests. I've chucked them as they're over a week old now xx

It sounds as if you're pregnant, 🤞
Now go to your GP and take the next steps.
If you're not pregnant, get a referral for investigations.

You’d expect a blazing positive by now then if you had faint positives a week ago and your period is late, so that’s the best way to check today. Any pregnancy test will do

LER2023 · 31/08/2025 11:23

If all your other tests are coming back positive, it does sound promising.
Breaking tests open creates an invalid result.
Eat healthy, take your vitamins, track your ovulation through BBT, CM and ovulstion strips.
Use tests with your first morning urine, even if you ask your gp for bloods to check HCG.

Good luck op x

Why post on here then if you only want answers telling you you can see both lines. For what it's worth, I think I can the faint line you mean but I would discard that test as it looks like it's overrun with dye.

SunflowerLife · 31/08/2025 11:26

Actually, seen you're 6 days late, you would normally have a strong obvious line by now, so probably an evap.

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 31/08/2025 11:38

Good luck @Mummywannabe36. I craved tuna in both pregnancies.

curliegirlie · 31/08/2025 11:39

So, have you been tracking ovulation through OPKs and/or BBT (I assume so, as a long timer…) to know you’re definitely late rather than being faced with a random cycle? I agree that if you were 6 days late you’d be looking at blazing positives rather than faint squinters, but that said I don’t know how blood tests compare with urine tests (although I’d guess they should actually come out stronger as HCG would be more concentrated in blood rather than urine 🤷‍♀️).

I get your pain, I really do. This time round I was trying for three years, bookended by early MCs, then was completely dumbfounded when I finally got a sticky one 3 months after the latest MC. But no need to take it out on others when you’re presenting us with a random, unfamiliar test, taken apart and completely out of context. Do try with another, standard red dye urine test and see how you get on. At 6 days late the time of day shouldn’t matter.

cheesycheesy · 31/08/2025 12:04

Just use a normal pregnancy test?

cheesycheesy · 31/08/2025 12:05

Super rude replies

Henbags · 31/08/2025 16:12

Yeah, how about doing a normal pregnancy test. In your own words, “it doesn’t take a scientist to work out”.

BeastAngelMadwoman · 31/08/2025 17:12

Agreed that if you're six days late, providing your cycles are regular, any test should tell you what you need to know.

pambeesleyhalpert · 31/08/2025 17:15

Mummywannabe36 · 31/08/2025 10:51

Fine, I'll just double check with docs.

Surely if you’re that smart you can figure it out yourself. No need to be so rude fgs

ToKittyornottoKitty · 01/09/2025 19:49

So did you do a pregnancy test@Mummywannabe36?
