What weeks did you have your first?

Hellooo! Interested to know how many weeks you were when you had your first baby? Were you early, on time or late? 👀

40 +5. Ended up as an emergency section.

42 weeks.

Induced at 41+5

I had an induction at 38+2 (born a few hours later at 38+3) but they said he would have been born in the next day or 2 anyway as I was already 3cm.

Second was 38+4 (spontaneous labour) and third was 31+3 (spontaneous labour too).

I think I was around 6 days late with my first.

First = 35 weeks c-section
second = 37 weeks c-section
third = 38 weeks planned c-section.

42+2 (yes, 16 days over!) with my first. Was induced, started induction at 42 weeks.

(Second was spontaneous 38+5, but the same birthweight!)

42 weeks, and yes the dates were correct
and I didn’t allow them to induce me
went for acupunture and my baby arrived a few hours later I had heard so many horror stories about being induced. I really wasn’t willing to let them do that 42 weeks Baby fine no problems.

My waters broke at 37+6 - a really slow trickle, but other that that not a single contraction.
DC1 ended up being born at 38+1 after I was put on the induction drip.

40+5 a sweep started it off!

38 weeks spontaneous

40+12, 3 sweeps later

39+3 … waters broke at 39+1 but no sign of labour so was then induced.

37+5

Both spontaneous, 40+10 for the first, and 40+5 for the second.

36 weeks exactly. 2 days prior I went on mat leave early because I couldn't go on (pre-covid, no wfh at that time). Thank God I did because my waters broke the night after and baby came within 24 hours

Waters broke naturally at 38+6 and he was born just 4 hours later. Was a very easy first labour!

35+5, waters broke but no contractions, had him via emergency c section 5 hours later

41 weeks induction and 39 weeks c section

41+5 and she came on her own, I was not induced and didn’t have a sweep either. I thought for sure her sister would be really late as well but she came 40+4

42+1 and he still takes forever to leave the house 🙄

42+1. Spontaneous and lovely home birth.

I reckon I gestate boys longer because I then had a daughter at 40+3 but number 3 was another boy and was 41+6. I felt that having more children to verify this might be a little over the top though.

First arrived bang on time (about the only time he has since and he's 26 now!). Second was 10 days early.
