Unsure if my boyfriend pulled out or not

I've recently come off the contraceptive implant as I was having issues with it. We've been using condoms when having sex, however last week we had sex without protection and my boyfriend swears he pulled out but I don't think he did. There was no mess anywhere. I'm worried as I'm currently ovulating.

If you had unprotected sex last Thursday, and your ovulation day is tomorrow, you probably are okay and won't be pregnant. But that's not a guarantee because the app is only predicting your ovulation day and it can get it wrong. To know your ovulation day for sure you need to take ovulation tests and your temperature. Or some women can feel it, like a twinge or sharp pain in the ovary area. If you actually ovulated anywhere between last Friday and yesterday, there's still a risk of pregnancy as sperm can live up to 5 days. Fingers crossed it ends up okay for you.

Yes there is a chance you could get pregnant from this, lots of women get pregnant accidentally in this scenario. However some people take a long time to conceive so you won't know until your period comes (Or doesn't).

IF your app is correct about your day of ovulation (it may well not be, it’s only an estimate) then your fertile window is dated back to five days before (as sperm can live for 5 days). Essentially, if you had unprotected sex on Saturday or afterwards then you would be at risk of pregnancy as the sperm might still be alive by the time the egg was released.

As you had sex on Thursday, the sperm won’t still be alive by tomorrow and you aren’t at risk.

The problem with all of this is that you don’t know for sure when you’re ovulating so can’t really rely on what the app is telling you.

@Spudthespanner there's no need to be rude. This is a forum that people come to for support about pregnancy questions. That what OP has done. We don't know anything about her age or her understanding of pregnancy timing - which I definitely didn't understand fully until I started trying.

No what i mean by the "No mess" was that he didn't do it on me and there was nothing on the bed etc. That's what I'm trying to say. I just came on here to hear other people's experiences.

You would know if he came inside you.

Take a pregnancy test, it’s literally the only way of knowing.

It’s not “your” thread it’s a forum, it’s open to the public, for anyone to comment.

Your situation? Well yes you could be pregnant, but at least you know early and can deal with the presumably unwanted pregnancy if it’s happened.

Needless to say, use contraception in future. This stress is not helpful for anyone.

I think there’s a reasonable chance you will be pregnant. He likely came inside you (the cum went somewhere 👀) and it can live inside you for 5 days
