Getting pregnant immediately after miscarriage

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to hear stories of anyone who got pregnant without a period after a miscarriage and any tricks they did.

I had a missed miscarriage at 10 weeks (baby stopped growing at 6 weeks). I had medical management on the 21st March (12 days ago). Bleeding stopped after 5 days. Still testing positive but very light. I got the all clear to try again when I’m ready and I don’t have to wait for a period if I don’t want to. We want to start trying but my BBT temperature is still higher than it would normally be pre ovulation and since I still am slightly positive, LH strips aren’t accurate. I am trying to track my cervical mucus, it’s currently clear and watery but not EW.

Pre pregnancy I would ovulate CD 16 +/- 2 days (tracked with natural cycles).

Should I be having sex every second day for now? Any other tips to optimise our chances? Thank you!

I had surgical intervention so not a lot of bleeding after my OP, just a bit for a day or 2
Had sex once around a week later and boom, Pregnant.
I had been advised not to test for 8 weeks so I didn't BUT I felt very hormonal and threw something at DH at one point
I thought it was just the trauma, also my Grandad died and I got my positive test the morning of his funeral (didn't tell anyone except DH) so I was all over the place anyway.
I was basically pg for a year

Oh I’m so sorry to hear about all your losses. Thank you so much for sharing and I’m so happy you got your rainbow baby!!

I got pregnant without having a period straight after a miscarriage.I wasn’t monitoring ovulation or temperature. Partner had been away for 2 weeks so more sex took place than normal when he got back!

It all turned out fine. Only issue was I didn’t have a reference for last menstrual
period to get an accurate due date. In hindsight I can see that my baby was not 2 weeks late as I know when I conceived. So I didn’t need to be induced.

Did you calculate roughly 38 weeks from when you ovulated? I did wonder how they work it out. The medical team did say that the only reason to wait for one period is to help with dates

My epu used HCG to estimate how pregnant I was and to arrange a scan to estimate the date and to confirm the pregnancy was in the right location prior to starting me on progesterone.

My midwife then used that date to give me an estimated "lmp" date to arrange the dating scan. If I hadn't had that scan she would have used the date of my miscarriage as an estimate for the dating scan. There's a 10 day difference between my miscarriage date and my faked lmp so hopefully the scan date would have still been ok but if not they would have got me back for a second scan. I had no information on when I ovulated and was over 7 weeks pregnant when I found out I was expecting.
