Morning sickness - promethazine or xonvea?

Hi all,
I'm 9 weeks and struggling badly - I've taken promethazine since 5.5 weeks as I did with my DS. However the breakthrough nausea is stopping me from working now even though I'm not vomiting it's so debilitating. The GP suggested Xonvea - has anyone taken this as a second or first line compared to promethazine? I have been issued the prescription but haven't collected yet. At the moment I am taking 10mg promethazine first thing and also around 5pm.

I weaned off slowly - they said not to do it too quick to avoid rebound symptoms. I got down to 1 but when I stopped that I did feel awful again so back on it annoyingly. I'm 22 weeks now
