Will this be okay until tomorrow or call labour ward now?

I've been struggling to empty my bladder properly over the past week, not getting much out compared to what I'm drinking - I told my midwife she said i have no other symptoms so just drink more

I've also had some heavy abdominal pain over the past week too

This evening it's so sore to pee and burns so I assume I have a UTI

I'm worried it's been left for over a week and not been treated and if it'll harm the baby?!

No chemist will be open at this time anyway for antibiotics so I may aswell just go to sleep and call the midwife tomorrow morning?
Or is this a call the labour ward now situation?

I'm 37 weeks -

Good choice OP. At this stage in your pregnancy anything can happen. I was admitted for a night at 37 weeks after a call to the midwives about something that I wasn’t sure was worth calling about and baby arrived just a few days later. So you never know!

Good luck!!

Thank you all! Labour ward were amazing and sent off urine sample and infection swabs but gave me some antibiotics to take home as my section is in 2 weeks time which ideally I need no infections for so they didn't want to wait☺️

Great news @anonny55 , hope it’s all plain sailing until your section now .

I'd get it checked. Bladder distention can cause life long pain/issues
