Any happy stories after early bleeding?

As the title really. I’m having some bleeding.
Had a tiny bit of brown spotting yesterday, today had a bleed - enough to need a panty liner but not much. Seems to have slowed now. No cramps, just feeling tender and bloated. I’m 5 weeks and 3 days.

Waiting to hear back from an out of hours GP - call was due 2.5 hours ago though.

Anyone had early bleeding that ended up with a healthy pregnancy?

Just be mindful that at 6 weeks there still isn't very much to see.. even if you got your dates wrong by one or two days, it could be the difference between seeing a heartbeat or not.

I wasn't as early as you but I had bleeding / spotting at 8 weeks. Im 15 weeks now and everything is ok. Just try not to stress and good luck x

I'm 11w0d today and have had cramps since yesterday with brown spotting today (increasing since this morning but staying brown for now and not red) and I am soooo worried though trying to stay calm.

EPU have offered me a scan in 2 days so just hoping all will be okay 🤞

I had bleeding for the first two weeks of pregnancy with my daughter - it was brown, never red or pink. The rest of my pregnancy was absolutely fine xx

Yes, was passing 50p sized clots at 4 months. Gave birth to healthy baby at full term. Sending you a hug.

I bled at 6 weeks and again at 7 weeks a lot too I had an early internal scan at 6 weeks which indicated that there was still a pregnancy but there was a lot of blood at 7 weeks and I cried and thought it was all over they would not rescan me for a further week. It was agonising. DD is 2 and perfect x

Jumping on this too for some reassurance. I had 2/3 days light bleeding very pink over the weekend and 2 days of brown spotting. I’m 15DPO today but starting to feel pregnancy symptoms too like nausea. I hope it was implantation but i need to wait 2 more weeks for early scan

I had a leak of fluid and lots of blood went hospital they said I'd had a complete loss. Grieved all weekend. Monday comes for my already scheduled 12 week scan... they were still doing it to see that I was clear, scan lady decided to do internal scan .... baby fine !!! Couldn't believe it ! And that was in 2020. My womb tilts back. Still no idea what caused it.

Bleeding has stopped so far but I had a transvaginal scan today, and unfortunately while there is a gestational sac, there is no yolk sac.

I’ve had a blood test and will have another on Saturday for HCG and progesterone. Then another scan next week if hormones are okay.

Just trying to keep my fingers crossed and trying to keep things as normal as possible for my little boy.

I had a huge bleed with my youngest at around 7 weeks, convinced it was a miscarriage. Turned out to be a haematoma, and went on to have a successful pregnancy

First pregnancy. Fair amount of bleeding and stomach cramps at 6 weeks, admitted to hospital for a couple of days. First scan showed heartbeat. He's now 24.

Second pregnancy same thing again, but the pain and bleeding was very, very different. An unmistakable miscarriage. I can't emphasise enough how different it was.

This is incredibly inappropriate for this thread.

Just had a call from the early pregnancy unit, they’ve said my hcg and progesterone are both very high so I don’t need another blood test on Saturday and will have another scan on Thursday.

I spoke to a lovely nurse who sounded quite positive while obviously being cautious.

I have had 3 babies and 1 missed miscarriage , i had early bleeding with all 3 babies all of whom reached full term with no problems at all.
With my miscarriage i had no early bleeding surprisingly.

@5weeksandworried my friend had bleeding with both her pregnancies and she and babies were fine. I never bled with my 2 loving children. Bled a tiny bit for 4 misscarriges. No bleeding for the rest of the 4 + misscarriges. Had some tiny bleeding for this pregnancy currently 25 weeks now. But I didn't even know I was pregnant till nearly 9 weeks this time. So I didn't worry ignorance was bliss for sure. I did take progesterone bum pessaries with all my previous misscarriges. And from this pregnancy I stopped at 19 weeks. So that might be an option for you? Wish you all the luck 🙏🏻

As an obsessive tester myself 🫠 can I ask how it was that you only found out at 9 weeks that's insane isn't it

I've had two miscarriages and one live birth and experienced bleeding in both. With the two miscarriages it was brown spotting like old blood. With the pregnancy that was fine in the end I had at around 7 weeks lots of blood clots coming out of me, about 8 just falling out in clumps in the toilet. I honestly thought that was the end but it ended up fine. They were in fact twins.
