Hi everyone, I want to share my news for those women who might be desperate to get pregnant as I was a few months ago. I am 39 years old and have been ttc since September. Had one suspected miscarriage in December and was so worried because I thought it would be extremely hard to get pregnant and that my chances were gone. I tried all natural remedies - I went to a herbalist and acupuncturist, stopped drinking and adopted a very healthy diet. I was terrified I wouldn't get pregnant due to all the scary stories online and low percentages and ivf ads I was targeted with. I just want to let you ladies know it is possible and for you to keep the faith, your baby can come too! ✨💕

Congratulations OP, that's wonderful news!

Many sources would have us believe that fertility drops off a sharp cliff the second we turn 35 when, in reality, there are many other factors that come into play too, not just age.

I conceived our first on the second cycle of trying at 37 and am now 32 weeks pregnant with DD2 at 42 years old. Both conceived naturally.

Wow! great news! I wish I had seen more positive stories when I was ttc. I was feeling so down seeing all the IVF ads constantly and it made me feel so hopeless I almost went for it last month. So glad I didn't though!!! I wish you the best for your pregnancy and birth!!

I've had all my pregnancies over the age of 36- and I've just had a baby at 40. The first 2 times I got pregnant on the first try and the last it happened on the 4th try. I also know lots of other mums over 40 having babies too and loads over 35.

You should probably have 39 in your title.

39 quite different to 35.

Not really, from a fertility and pregnancy point of view, most people will talk about being 35+ or 40+

It's not just getting pregnant, it's having a healthy love baby. I hope you'll get both!
