Periods after abortion

Hi, sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this, but I need some advice. I had a MA on 27th November. All went fine (aside from the emotional distress) and it was successful. I had my first period 25th-31st December. I have been tracking my periods on the Flo app, and it says I was likely to be fertile from 1st-9th Jan and that I was likely to have ovulated on 5th Jan. For some stupid reason, I didn't think I could be fertile the day after my period ended, and I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend (just that day, the rest we used the pull out method). According to the app, I was due on my period on Monday, and I've had nothing. Could this just be my body getting back to normal again and normal that the periods might be a bit sporadic? I'm too scared to think about taking a test just yet. I cannot go through another abortion, it almost destroyed me last time. If/as soon as AF appears, I will be straight to the doctors sorting contraception. Please be kind, I've really struggled with this and I know we should have been more careful, which I thought we were being, but maybe not. Thank you.

And just like that, AF has just arrived 😅😅 off to phone the doctors for a coil appointment now!

I'm glad you got the outcome you wanted. It would be awful to be back in that same painful position. The pull out method is not safe. Discuss your options with your gp so you can find peace x

Thank you so much for replying. I would happily have gone through with it if it was the other outcome, but my boyfriend isn't ready so I have to respect that. You're right, we can't take any more risks so I will be requesting to have the coil put in.
