Looking for info on fertility treatments as a single woman. I'm 41, following scans and tests have been told ok results except for amh of 0.4 very low: FSH tested 17.7 IU/L, AMH 0.44 pmol/l, LH 7.4 IU/L, T4 11.4 pmol/L, TSH 2.55 mIU/L and progesterone 127 pmol/L. BMI is 19.5, height 175cm, weight 59kg, never been more than this but have been slightly underweight briefly with pneumonia and sepsis 10 years ago. Testing with ovulation strips since Nov 2022 and some months notice annovulation. Since 40 my period has reduced from 7 to 6 day bleed with a total 28 day monthly cycle. I've never smoked drank or done drugs and take folic acid daily, sometimes multivitamins and have been for at least a year solid if not longer, eat homemade healthy as I can, although exercise has taken a back seat since pandemic. Tried for 8 months with no pregnancy, never pregnant before. Single again and honestly find men too abusive on dating sites to ever go back. I'm even afraid to go on dates with the amount of scary experiences I've had. Only stress that could be affecting cycle is enormous stress of dating and relationships, even having a sick parent is easier. Stopping dating permanently coz it's doing so much damage. Going smbc route as I don't want a bad role model for future kids. Need advice, pointers, info etc if anyone has anything to share would much appreciated.
Questions:
Am I missing ovulation date? Could I be ovulating within days of my period or really late in cycle or is it always same day?
Has anyone achieved a natural first pregnancy with a similar situation and age to me above?
If I use IUI treatment option, how much does it cost in total? As in, are there costs for fertility meds and do I have to buy donor sperm or is that all in IUI total price? How successful are IUIs for over 40 pregnancy?
Same questions for IVF route? Costs? Succes over 40?
Is there anything I need to do or forgotten to improve my chance of pregnancy each month regards diet, lifestyle, other etc
Dunno why I didn't get pregnant trying before, can stress do that much damage on its own?
